Birthday Party FAQs for Your Party at Chibis Indoor Playground
CAN I BRING A PINATA INTO THE PLAYGROUND OR THE PRIVATE PARTY ROOM? No. Some of the prizes found inside pinatas present a choking hazard to our tinier customers. CAN MY CHILD OPEN GIFTS DURING THEIR PARTY? No. Gifts shall not be opened during the party. All gifts shall be collected by your party helper and placed in a convenient carrier bag to be taken to your car before the end of the party. You could set up a special place in your home to open the presents, and take a photo of the birthday child holding up each opened gift. Send a photo of each gift to its giver in your thank you note. The guests will feel like they were able to share in the joy by the look of surprise and thanks on the guest of honor's face. CAN I BRING A CAKE AND PARTY FOOD TO CHIBIS EARLY, BEFORE MY PARTY TIME? No. We will have plenty of time to help you set up before your time in the Private Party Room begins. ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS REGARDING FOOD I CAN BRING INTO THE PRIVATE PARTY ROOM? Not really. We are not an official "nut free zone", but we do discourage bringing foods that contain nuts. Also, choose foods that are simple and easy to eat. Foods that require utensils or are really messy may mean that you spend a lot of time cleaning little hands and faces...repeatedly! Here are some examples of party foods that are neat and tidy.
- Ham or turkey sandwiches with mayo or butter, cut into triangles
- Cubes of ham, turkey or cheese served with party toothpics or on kabob skewers (for older pre-schoolers)
- Fresh bite-sized veggie selection: carrots, cucumber, celery, frozen peas (thawed), cherry tomatoes, bell pepper or broccoli
- Fresh bite-sized fruit selection: apples, grapes, berries, melon or raisins
- Plain potato chips, crackers or pretzels - cheezy or flavored chips really coat the fingers
